CHATSWORTH (PNS) -- Mrs. Gertrude E. Kurtenbach, 67, Peotone, Ill., formerly of Chatsworth, died at 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 1973, at her home.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sts. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church, Chatsworth, with the Rev. James Murray officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Chatsworth.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Culkin Memorial Home, Chatsworth. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
She was born Dec. 19, 1905, in Chatsworth, a daughter of David and Margaret Elbert Albee. She married Vern Kurtenbach June 8, 1940, in Chatsworth.
Surviving are her husband; a son, William, Momence; two brothers, Harold Albee, Fairbury; Francis Albee, Gilman; and a sister, Mrs. Marie Overacker, Piper City.
She was preceded in death by a sister [Mrs. Blanche Phipps].
Mrs. Kurtenbach was an elementary teacher for many years. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Peotone.
