George Bertha, 54, Muncie New Company owner who was badly burned early yesterday in his apartment, at 406 East Adams street, died less than 12 hours later at Ball Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Meeks mortuary, with the Rev. Joseph McDonnell, assistant pastor of St. Lawrence Church, in charge. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 5 and from 7 to 9 o'clock Friday afternoon and evening at the mortuary. The casket will not be opened.
