Henry S. Walker, 71, retired business man and former deputy sheriff, died at his home on Third Street Tuesday, May 21, following several weeks' illness.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ida Dean Walker; four daughters, Mrs. Tom Collier, Mrs. Joe Johns, Mrs. Allen Johns and Mrs. Stanford Harvey; three sons, Charles, Dean and George Walker; three sisters, Mrs. Janie Watts, Mrs. Cordie Peel and Miss Carrie Walker; and a brother, John L. Walker, all of Jessamine County.

The funeral services will be held at the Guyn & Kurtz funeral home Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J.D. Dunn and Rev. C.W. Scott, pastors of Christ church and burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery.
