Annice V. Anderson, 87, Troutdale, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at the Wythe County Community Hospital, Wytheville.

She was born September 11, 1924, in Marion to the late Mack Morris Coalson and Rachel Viola Coalson, also predeceased by her husband, David V. Anderson three brothers, Buford Coalson, William "Bill" Coalson and Clifton "C" Coalson.

Surviving, one son, David V. Anderson Jr. and wife, Brenda, of Rural Retreat; four daughters, Sandra A. Hampton, of Galax; Wanda A. McKinnon and husband, Lee, of Bluefield; Annette A. Louthen and husband Cecil "Donnie", of Sugar Grove; Mona A. Burkett and husband, George of Groseclose; five sisters, Marilyn Barrett, of Chester; Mary Jane C. White and husband, Elmo, of Hillsville; Martha C. Kirby and husband, Mike, of Ormond, Fla.; Betty Jo C. McClure, of Marion; Linda C. Shore of Winchester; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012, at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel, Independence. The Rev. Ken Riggins and the Rev. Lee McKinnon will officiate. Interment in Anderson Hill Cemetery in Troutdale. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
