Mrs. Shelby Jean Allen, age 72 of Hiawassee, GA, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2012. She was born to the late Stoy and Ada Jane (Underwood) Byers on January 10, 1940 in Hiawassee, GA.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 2:00PM from Eastgate Church with Rev. Greg Roberts officiating. Music was provided by Tyler Moody. Pallbearers were: Alden Hunter, Craig Ivey, Terry Utt, Brent Moody, Brandon Wood, Mitch Eller, Honorary pallbearers were: Derek Moody and Terry Moore. Interment was in Osborn cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee entrusted with arrangements.
