"Funeral Services for Mrs. Frances Pleasant Wages, age 95, of Shelbyville will be conducted at 5:00PM, Wednesday, at the First Assembly of God in Tullahoma. Visitation with the family will be held at the church on Wednesday from 3:30 until service time. Additional services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the First Assembly of God in Sparkman, AR. Burial will follow in the Sparkman Cemetery.

Mrs. Wages went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 29, 2015. She was born in Sparkman, AR to the late Willie F. and Mary Rebecca Launius Amis. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Luther I. Wages, son, Richard A. Wages, sisters, Altha Williams and Luevinia Holloway, brothers, J. C. Amis and Bernis Amis. Frances had a passion and love for her Lord, family and the church. She loved working with the youth in the church and her home was always open to them. She had a whit about her that people enjoyed and loved being around her up until the Lord took her home to be with Him. The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to Living Church , 1801 Artesia Court, Mansfield, TX 76063.

She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Hunter of Picayune, MS, Vyrene (Wayne) Crowder of Shelbyville, TN, daughter in law, Emily Wages of Tyler, TX, sister, Josephine Manning, of ElDorado, AR, grandson, Rev. Daniel (Rachel) Hunter of Mansfield, TX, step grandson, Marcus Crowder of Picayune, MS, granddaughters, Dana (Mike) Henderson of Orlando, FL, Angela (Aaron) Menchaca of Spring, TX, Carla Ayala of League City, TX, great grandsons, Jonathan Henderson, Nathan Henderson, and Wyatt Ayala, great granddaughters, Emily Mills, Makenzie Menchaca, Megan Menchaca, Kathryn Henderson, Ashley Ayala, Avery Hunter and Jordyn Hunter, step great grandson, Michael Crowder and many nieces and nephews.
