Mr. Carl Wayne Grothe, 68, of Cameron, passed away Monday, February 27, 2012, in a Waco hospital. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at 12 p.m. in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron, with Rev. Jim Lafferty officiating. Burial will follow at Walker's Creek Cemetery in Cameron. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Carl was born in Tomball, Texas, to the late Herman and Thelma (Keller) Grothe. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was a farmer and rancher.
Survivors include his son, Ty Wayne Grothe, of Lorena;
daughter, Tracy Tindell, of Belton; two grandchildren, Madison and Morgan Tindell; sisters, Norma Jean Brewer, of Ft. Worth and Linda Grothe, of Kerrville; and many other family members and friends.
