Keziah Murphy was the daughter of Rev. Wm. Murphy (1730-1799) and Martha Hodges (1724-1760). She married Isaac Barton in 1772 in Pittsylvania Co., VA. The couple had twelve children. Said to be buried in Springvale, TN.

Keziah, Wm Murphy's eldest dau by late wife Martha Hodges, met neighbor Isaac Barton b.1746 & m.1772. Same year PittsylvaniaCo was new from Halifax Co list here, dad Wm m.1767 Sarah Barton b.1748, Joshua's dau & sis of David & Isaac Barton.
