Valaeo A. (Bert) Ostler, 70, of Provo, died October 29, 1990, at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo. He was born September 13, 1920, in Price, a son of E. LaVell and Tryphena Gallup Ostler. He married Cleo Whiting, January 12, 1940, in Evanston, Wyoming. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Survivors include his wife of Provo, three sons and two daughters, Jerry Ostler of Ft. Collins, Colorado, David L. Ostler of Escondido, California, Robert Ostler of Provo, Mrs. Ronald (Karen) Oveson of Provo, and Mrs. Edward (Diana) Middlebrook Jr. of Santa Monica, California; 17 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister, A. LaVell Ostler of Springville, Fern Obee of Fair Oaks, California. He was buried November 2, 1990.
