Calvin Dale Jantz, 47, of Inola, Okla., died April 18, 1995, after a yearlong illness with leukemia.

Services were held at Eden Mennonite Church near Inola. Pastor John Wesley Voth officiated. Burial was in the Eden Mennonite Cemetery.

Calvin was born Nov. 2, 1947, in Pryor, to Rudy and Harpa Jantz. He grew up in the Inola area, attended Chouteau High School and graduated from Oklahoma Bible Academy. He was also a graduate of Oklahoma State Tech in Okmulgee.

He married Mary Coblentz on Aug. 15, 1970, in Pryor.Calvin worked as a manufacturing and industrial engineer 22 years.

In recent years he became self-employed, operating a commercial container service. He was a life-long member of Eden Mennonite Church, where he served as deacon.

He was also active in the music programs and other church-related activities.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; two children, Rodney Dale and Janel Denise of the home; his father, Rudy of Inola; two brothers, Harvey of Inola and Curtis of Willow Springs, Mo.; and a sister, Sylvia Jantz of Lynnwood, Wash. He was preceded in death by his mother, Harpa.
