10/25/2015. Aunt Louise's husband IS George Hoagland. He is now 95 years of age. I spoke with him this date, and he is doing "Fine, for a man of my age", he said.
Aunt Louise had three sisters and three brothers:
Ethel E. Johnson (B) 02/22/1901 in Baxley, GA. (D) 9/26/1966 in Tampa FL.
Marie Antoinette 'Nettie' Johnson Taylor (B) 7/01/1903 in Baxley, GA (D)11/29/1986,
Helen Vestal Johnson Kemp (B) 02/26/1921 in Broxton, GA (D) 12/26/2002 in Cerritos, CA Buried in Inglewood Park Cemetery, Inglewood, CA. Her husband, Walter M. Kemp (B) 6/20/1916 (D) 11/26/1985. Buried in Inglewood Park Cemetery, Inglewood, CA.
Johnnie Carroll Johnson (B) 03/16/1902 in Baxley, GA (D) 01/12/1963.
Harry Alfred Johnson (B) 10/05/1912 in Baxley, Appling Co., GA. (D) 12/28/1987 in Ojai, CA. Buried in Calvary Cemetery, Texarkana, AR.
Juanice George Johnson (B) 03/03/1917 Graham, GA (D) no date, yet, in NJ.

HER MOTHER: Johnnie Luola (Johnson) Johnson Christensen
(B) 03/13/1884 in GA. (D) 9/17/1956 in Compton, CA. Is buried in Inglewood Park Cemetery, Inglewood, CA. Cemetery records list her as Luola Johnnie Christensen.
HER FATHER: Malcolm Carroll Johnson (B) 01/03/1875 in Appling County, GA. (D) 04/29/1934 in Alma, GA. Buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Alma, Bacon Co., GA.
They were married 01/28/1900 in Appling Co., GA.
When Harry (Charlotte's father) was 18, he was shown on the census, alone, except for his father, Malcolm. Under marital status, Malcolm advised that he was a widower. Grandmother, Luola, had divorced him. Her sister, Nina, who was seven years younger, and Leona, who was 13 years younger, had moved to California. (I am attempting to find out when they arrived there. On the 1930 census records it shows that Nina Johnson Neal was 28 and Leona Johnson Rule was 27. (They are shown one year apart on the 1930 census and six years apart on the 1900 census records.) Luola, Juanice, Louise and Helen lived in the same house with Herbert & Leona Rule and Nina Johnson Neal in Beverly Hills, California.

Uncle George, Aunt Louise's husband, told me that Nina had sent Luola money for tickets on the bus or train that would bring she, Juanice, Louise and Helen to her in California. I am still trying to find records on Luola's 2nd husband, Thorvald Christensen. I know that he was buried in Inglewood Cemetery on 04/26/1968, he was 79 years, one month and 29 days old, according to Inglewood Cemetery records. I was told by Uncle George that Thorvald worked on a merchant marine ship. I know that after Grandmother Luola died in 1956, Aunt Helen and Uncle Walter took care of him until his death.

CHILDREN; Aunt Louise and Uncle George had one daughter. She was born on April 9, 1944 and died on April 10, 1944. Her name was Georgiana Louise. She is buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park (Glendale).

I, Charlotte, am also a member of Find A Grave. Johnnie Luola (Johnson) Christensen and Thorvald Christensen are not listed, yet. I will list them shortly. I'm trying to find someone in the Inglewood area to take pictures of their headstones or markers and post them so that whomever is searching will be able to find them.

OCCUPATION: Aunt Louise was an actress. She appeared in the tv show, "My Little Margie" as a 'stand-in' for Gail Storm and on the "Doris Day" show. She was on the "Barnaby Jones" show.
She appeared in many movies as a 'stand in'. Some of the stars she worked with were Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Burt Lancaster, Kirk Douglas, Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward.
She once introduced me to Fabian at the Los Angeles airport when my little daughter, Kathy (20 months old) and I were returning home to Texas. Afterwards, as we walked toward my gate, she asked me, "You don't know who I just introduced you to, do you??" I said, "No." She said, "That was Fabian." You see, she used his 'real' name. Boy, did I feel like an idiot for not recognizing him.

Today is April 10, 2016. I received a very sad telephone call from sister-in-law, Pat Johnson (Harry Alfred Johnson Jr.'s wife). She advised that Uncle George passed away yesterday morning, April 9, 2016. He is now happy because he and Aunt Louise are together in Heaven. He told Pat, Linda, and me to make a toast to him with a glass of wine when we hear of his passing. Now they are all gone.
