OBITUARY
In Memory...

Those we love remain with us
for love itself lives on
cherished memories never fade
because our loved one is gone
Those we love can never be more than
a thought apart for as long as there is memory, they live on in our heart.

Council Lee Alexander was born to the late Sam and Council B Alexander in Shreveport and brought them great joy. One brother, Lucious Caldwell proceeded him in death. Recognizing that only God can give eternal life, Alex grew to believe and confessed his filth in Christ. He attended churches in the communities of both Hosston and Shreveport.

Alex received his education from Hosston and Pine Valley Elementary, Herndon High School and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Liberal Studies from Southern University in Baton Rouge. He became a certified Notary Public for the Slate of Louisiana and assisted the public in many ways. "Alex", as he was affectionately referred to was outgoing, helpful and very much concerned about the welfare of his fellow man. He had a kind heart indeed. He was also known as "Jackie and Count."

Alex's biological clock was stilled on June 18, 2001.

His memory will live on in the hearts of many, including a very special and devoted fiance, Ms. Doyce L Scott, a dearly beloved God-Son, Donald "Buck" Coatney, cousins, aunts, nieces, nephews, various other relatives and numerous friends.
