Paul W. Albright, 74, of Pinedale Road, Carlisle, died Thursday, September 27, 2007 at his home. He was born Saturday, August 19, 1933, in McCrea, Cumberland County and was a son of the late William E. and Lottie V. (Salisbury) Albright.

Paul was married to the late Carolyn Jean (Piper) Albright who died Jan. 21,2001. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Paul worked in the insurance industry for 30 years having started his career with the former Washington National Insurance Company in Carlisle in 1967 and retiring in 1998. He also had worked five years with Royal Neighbors of America Insurance Co. During his career at Washington National, Paul was honored with many achievement awards including Company Manager of the Year in 1988. Prior to his career with Washington National, Paul had worked for Rufe Chevrolet in Carlisle from 1957 to 1967. He formerly attended Mt. Rock United Methodist Church and Good Shepherd Community United Methodist Church both of Carlisle. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association, member of the Carlisle Fish & Game Association, the National Wild Turkey Federation, the Gobin Guards, the Carlisle American Legion Post 101 and he was a 27 year member of Cumberland Star Lodge #197 F & AM. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting and reading. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Sabrina J. Jones and one grandson, Adam R. Day.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Dorothy E. "Dottie" Day of Carlisle, one brother, Stanley W. Albright also of Carlisle, two grandchildren, Shaun M. Jones and Brandi Lynn Jones, four great grandchildren and three nieces.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 2, 2007 at 10:30 am in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. Tim Wagner officiating. Burial with military honors provided by Cumberland County Honor Guard will be in the Bloserville Cemetery, Bloserville. A visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, October 1 from 6 to 8 pm and where a masonic service will be held at 7:30 pm. Memorial contributioons can be made to, Asera Care Hospice, 75 S.
