She and Bob lived in several places in the U.S. as Bob was a career Marine. They retired to Kissimmee, FL where they were living when Margaret died. She spent many hours running the Thrift Shop at the retirement village where they lived and was always ready to go garage-sale hopping. She and Bob often visited Bob's cousin Harriet while in Florida and the women would bake bread and go "shopping".
They traveled back to Menominee frequently to visit family and friends, often spending summers in the house where Bob grew up.
They had no children.
