FARMER KILLED AS CAR TURNS OVER
Edd Duren, 63, farmer living near Kenton, was killed instantly Sunday afternoon, when his car overturned on Turn Pike Levee north of Mason Hall Sunday afternoon.
Mr. Duren, his wife and daughter Ada, and little grandson were returning from Fulton, Ky., where they had been visiting their daughter, Mrs. Sallie Meadows, when they drove too near the edge of the levee when meeting another car and their own car was overturned. Mrs. Duren's shoulder was hurt and Ada received injuries in the arm but nothing serious.
Mr. Duren leaves a wife and six children.
Funeral services were held Tuesday.
