Born December 5, 1961 in Fort Madison, Iowa he was the son of Carl and Jane (Pollpeter) Bell.
Survivors include his parents Carl and Jane of West Point, Iowa, one sister Carla Bell of Burlington, Iowa, two brothers Jeffry Bell of West Point, Iowa, Travis (Angie) Bell of Franklin, Iowa, two nephews Joel Bell of West Point, Iowa, Hayden Richardson of Burlington, Iowa, one great nephew Reid Bell of Fort Madison and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and two twin brothers.
Randy was a 1980 graduate of Central Lee High School. He had worked at Wilson Construction, Bryant Locker and as of recent the Franklin Tap. Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, woodworking, his tractor, his dog "Dumpster" and he was an avid Cubs fan.
Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in West Point, Iowa where the family will meet with friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in West Point with Father Dennis Hoffman as celebrant. Burial will be in the Franklin City Cemetery, Franklin, Iowa.
Memorials may be made to the P.A.W. Animal Shelter.
