Jackson – Edna Moon Jackson age 91 of Snellville passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012. Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Snellville First Baptist Church, with Dr. Ronny Spillers, Rev. Steve Foster and Rev. Guy Priester officiating. Burial will follow at Snellville Historical Cemetery. She was a faithful loving member of Snellville First Baptist since 1941, serving in the Celebration Choir for over 50 years. She also served as a Sunday School teacher and sang in the Joyful Sound Choir. She was a loving friend to many baking pound cakes and taking food in times of need. Her hobbies were traveling with friends, crocheting over 4000 names for people and enjoying her family all of which filled her life with joy. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by husband, James T. Jackson, Sr., 2 infant sons, her father & mother, Henry Taylor Moon & Ada Phillips Moon; sisters & brother-in-law, Ruby & Edgar Johnson; Floy Moon; brothers & sister-in-law, Rev. Frank Moon, "Monk" Moon, Hubert & Adi Moon, and Morris Moon. Survivors include Children: Janice & Larry Rutledge; Jimmy & Lisa Jackson; Joel & Bobbie Jackson; Jon Marc & Anne Jackson; 11 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren; Sisters-in-law: Clydie Moon & Sara Moon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Capital Campaign Fund of Snellville First Baptist Church, PO Box 647, Snellville, GA 30078.
