Dorris Bolton Pittman, 88, of Marietta, GA, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry & Bessie Bolton, and all four of her siblings. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 69 years, B. E. “Pitt” Pittman, their two daughters, three granddaughters, six greatgranddaughters, and many nieces and nephews. Dorris donated her body to Emory, but there will be a Homegoing Celebration held in her honor on Thursday, June 7th at 3:00pm in the Worship Center at Roswell Street Baptist Church, 774 Roswell Road, Marietta, GA 30060. Family & friends are asked to wear something cheerful and invited to a time of fellowship & refreshments immediately following the service.
