Son of the late James and Elizabeth House, died in St. Louis at the age of 51 years, 1 month, 22 days. Body was brought to the C.Z. Boyer and Son funeral parlors in Desloge where it lay in state until funeral services were held at the Desloge Baptist Church with Rev. J. R. Wagoner, pastor, officiating. Burial at Parkview Cemetery.
April 7, 1911 he was united in marriage to Minnie McIntryre of Desloge, to this union were born two sons: Ernest Harold and Paul Everett, both of whom survive and live in St. Louis. June 1, 1917 he was united in marriage to Grace Duncan Kennon who, with the folowing three children, survives: Ruby (Mrs. Arthur) Netz, Ruth (Mrs. Leonard) Brown and Richard Ray, all of St. Louis.
He also leaves 8 grandchildren; three brothers: Winfred of Mentfro, MO, James of St. Louis, and Clarence of Irondale; two sisters: Mrs. Rosa Lahay of Route Four, Farmington, and Mrs. Mollie Huskey of Gumbo.
