April 7, 1911 he was united in marriage to Minnie McIntryre of Desloge, to this union were born two sons: Ernest Harold and Paul Everett, both of whom survive and live in St. Louis. June 1, 1917 he was united in marriage to Grace Duncan Kennon who, with the folowing three children, survives: Ruby (Mrs. Arthur) Netz, Ruth (Mrs. Leonard) Brown and Richard Ray, all of St. Louis.
He also leaves 8 grandchildren; three brothers: Winfred of Mentfro, MO, James of St. Louis, and Clarence of Irondale; two sisters: Mrs. Rosa Lahay of Route Four, Farmington, and Mrs. Mollie Huskey of Gumbo.
