Services for Frank L Glidden, 72, of Houston, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leroy Pearson officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Wells.
Mr. Glidden was born March 30, 1921 in Orange and died Tuesday in Houston. He was a graduate of Lufkin High School. Mr. Glidden lived in Houston many years prior to returning to Lufkin in 1983 and moved back to Houston in 1992. Mr. Glidden was a member and a deacon at First Baptist Church of Lufkin. He was a mechanic for Mort Hall Ford Company.
Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Judy Glidden of Houston daughter, Nancy Brewer of Houston; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren ; brother and sister-in-law, the Rev. George and Ailene Glidden of Lufkin; sister-in-law, June Smith of Lufkin.
