Mary Nan Pearson, 83, of San Angelo passed away January 2, 2007 in Celina, Texas.

Mass of Resurrection will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 6, 2007 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery.

Mary Nan was born in San Angelo, Texas to Albert and Myrtle Boykin on December 9, 1923. She graduated from St. Joseph's Nursing School in Fort Worth, Texas. She worked as a Registered Nurse for St. John's Hospital for 35 years. She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Cathedral and lived in San Angelo most of her life, until her retirement.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John R. Boykin and a sister Myrtle Baybo Emory.

Mary Nan is survived by her daughter Candace A. Jernigan and husband, Arvel of Dallas; her granddaughters, Simone Garner and husband, Jaime of Dallas, Jolene Chiha of Chiang Mai, Thailand; Paige Chiha of Suresnes, France; Penelope Chiha of Fayetteville, Arkansas and several nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be her son-in-law Arvel Jernigan, nephews John Boykin and James Boykin and her granddaughter's husband, Jaime Garner.
