Chairmaker. Son of Eri A. & Hannah Matilda (Copps) Tennant. Harvey's death record has his birthplace as Morr, NY and his father's name was spelled Eria. He reportedly lived to be 27 years, 8 months and 24 days old. His brother Pliney died in Winchendon and was buried there (see memorial #163948836). That boy's birthplace was entered as Morris, NY on his death record.

Harvey, 25, a mechanic, was married to Miss Carrie Eliza Dustin, 18, an operative, on June 15, 1881 here in Gardner. The Rev. W. D. Herrick officiated the ceremony. Mr. Tennant's birthplace was listed as Ellenburg, NY on that record.

The Tennants had two sons. The first was stillborn in Gardner ten days before their one year wedding anniversary. Harvey's birthplace was listed as Edinburg, NY on that entry. The second child, Edgar H. D., was born four months after the father had died.
