Combs Anderson, aged 82 years, [died Thursday night, April 18, in Decatur county.] For many years he lived at the site of Anderson's Falls, and Fallfork creek, near Hartsville, and was known to hundreds of people.

Mr. Anderson was a native of New Jersey, but came to Indiana when young. He was a farmer all his life. Mrs. Anderson died a few years ago, but there are four children surviving. They are Miss Mary Anderson, who lives at home; Mrs. Ella Williams, of Letts; Herbert Anderson, of Great Falls. Mont.; and Mrs. Jacob Thurston, of Waynesburg. William F. Barrett, of this city, is a nephew, Mrs. Will Sharp, of this city, is a niece, and Cecil Anderson, of this city, is a grandson of the late Mr. Anderson.

The funeral will be held at Waynesburg, Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Lydie, of Guinville. Burial was in the Garland Brook cemetery.
