Dawson, 65, of Brighton Twp., passed away Sunday evening, June 12, 2011, at Providence Health Care Center, with her family at her side. Born December 11, 1945, in Washington, PA, she was a daughter of the late Reverend W. Stanton and Opal Elliott River and had been a resident of Brighton Twp. the past 38 years. Bonnie had retired as a secretary at Geneva College after 12 years, having previously worked at Westinghouse Electric Corp., Vanport, and the McKeesport School District. She had been a former member of the First Presbyterian Church, Beaver. Surviving is her husband, Lloyd P. 'Jake' Dawson, with whom she would have celebrated 42 years of marriage, having married on June 14, 1969. She is also survived by three sons, Mark D. Dawson, Douglas P. Dawson, Jeffrey J. and his wife, Erika L. Dawson, and two granddaughters, Alexis N. Dawson and Lena K. Dawson, all of Beaver. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her granddaughter, Kaylee Dawson, in 2000
