DORCHESTER (Special) - Burial services for Mrs. Amanda Kronschnabl, 75, Crandon, the widow of a former Dorchester postmaster and assemblyman, Herman Kronschnabl, were held at Memorial cemetery, Dorchester, Saturday afternoon, with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Thomas Hayden officiating. She died unexpectedly last Thurs day morning of coronary thrombosis. Mrs. Kronschnabl, the former Miss Amanda Laughlin, was born June 17, 1880, in Custer and was married here to Mr. Kronschnabl. They left Dorchester in 1925, shortly after he had served 10 years as postmaster. Her husband, who died in November, 1943, was editor of the Forest Republican at Crandon and served as assembly man from that district during the 1930s. Survivors include a son. Jack, present editor of the Crandon weekly newspaper; two daughters, Miss Marie Kronschnabl, Medford, and Mrs. Tony Ringsmuth, Wakefield, Mich., and a sister in Madison. Dorchester residents attending the funeral services Saturday morning at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Crandon, were Mrs. Sarah Kronschnablt the Misses Rose and Ceal Kronschnabl, Max, Jerome and Milton Kronschnabl, Mr, and Mrs. Clifford Herman and son, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Mertens and family and Mrs. Henry Mertens.
