Mrs. Grace Mentzer Sauder, 69, of Stevens R1, died at 9:48 p.m. Friday at the Ephrata Community Hospital where she was a patient for one day. Death following a lengthy illness. She was born in Earl Twp., a daughter of the late Jacob M. and Mary G. Martin Mentzer, and resided in this area her entire life. She was a member of the Ephrata Church of the Brethren. She is survived by her husband, John J. Sauder, at home; two sons, Arthur J., Morgantown, and John H., of Reinholds; three daughters, Mrs. Willa May Curley of West Chester; Irene, wife of Arthur McElyea, of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Alta, wife of John C. Walsh, Mohnton R2; 23 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. (Sunday News - Nov 12, 1967)
