James Woodrow Chandler of Ennis, age 19 years, 11 months and 19 days, died suddenly of acute indigestion Friday night at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Chandler, 605 East Milam Street.
He was born in Ennis July 6, 1918, and graduated from the Ennis high school with the class of 1936. He was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church and the W.O.W. Lodge.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Chandler, two brothers, Roy and Arthur, and one sister, Miss Frances Chandler, all of Ennis.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the First Baptist Church, with Rev. A. J. Kirkland, pastor, officiating. Interment was made in Myrtle Cemetery.
