He was born July 29, 1927 to Melvin Porter and Mae Alberta Roberts Callister. He married Bonnie Mitchell. He fought a courageous battle with cancer for years.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Fishing and hunting were important, but his greatest joy was talking. He was a member of the Plumber and Steamfitters Local #19 for 51 years. He spent his last years at the beautiful summer home that he built with son, Craig and brother-in-law, Bob, in Fruitland, Utah.
Carl is survived by his wife, Bonnie of Salt Lake City; son, Craig and wife, Leslie; daughter, Shauna and husband, David Peck; and grandchildren (little Pards) Quintin and Logan Callister; and Saisha and Tyler Peck.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 21, 1996, at the Redwood Memorial Chapel, 6500 So. Redwood Road, at 1 p.m., where friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, one hour prior to services.
Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
