Mrs. Frances Orlena CRAWFORD, 73, pioneer resident of Spearman, died yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home of a daughter, Mrs. R. D. CHAMBERLAIN, following a stroke suffered about ten days ago.
Mrs. CRAWFORD, who is survived by eight children, twenty-four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, lived in Hansford county for 17 years.
Survivors include R. M. CRAWFORD, Roe CRAWFORD, Otto CRAWFORD, all of Spearman, Royal CRWWFORD of Tulia, Mrs. R. H. HASSELL of Palestine, Mrs. H. H. UNGER of Riverside, California, Mrs. R. D. CHAMBERLAIN of Spearman.
Five brothers also survive, namely Martin, Lucian, Seldon and C. M. HUDDLESTON, all of Palestine and Floyd HUDDLESTON of Houston; and a sister, Mrs. R. O. BURKE of Palestine.
A member of the Church of Christ, Funeral Services for Mrs. CRAWFORD will be held at the Union Church in Spearman this afternoon at 3 o'clock, with Brother M. W. Graves officiating.
Interment will be in Hansford cemetery, beside her husband, M. C. CRAWFORD, who preceded her in death in 1930. Carver Funeral Chapel of Borger is in charge of arrangements.
