Crushed Under Shovel
Anton Becker, 32, of Bakerville,
was killed Thursday when the gas
shovel he was operating in a gravel
pit at Lindsey, Wood county, tipped
over and crushed him. He was
working on a county project at the
time. He was sitting in the driv-
er's seat when the machine sudden-
ly tipped over. Becker was unmar-
ried.
