Services Held Wednesday for Walter H. Burroughs

Walter H. Burroughs, Route 2, Twin Lakes, a former Plainwell resident passed away Saturday morning in McAllen, Tex., after a lingering illness. Born July 16 1892, in Plainwell. He was a veteran of World War I and is survived by his wife Marcia; one son, Walter Burroughs of Iowa Falls, Iowa; two stepsons, Donald Hamilton of Kalamazoo and Richard Hamilton of Anaheim Calif.; step-mother, Mrs. Eva Wheater of Plainwell; one sister, Mrs. Howard Lancaster of Plainwell; one brother, Harry Burroughs of Toledo, Ohio; 13 grand children, and eight great grand children.

Services were held at Marshall and Gren Chapel, Wednesday afternoon at 2:00, Rev. Emerson Minor officiating with interment in Hillside cemetery.
