Floyd (Humpy) Clifton, 72, died 6 a.m. , January 31st, at St. Joseph hospital, Lexington, after a brief illness.
A native of Owen County, he was the son of D. Franklin & Suckie Tolbert Clifton.
Survivors include his wife Mabel; sons, Burnis, Gene, Walter & Bobby; daughters Mrs. Margaret McClung, Mrs Rena Harris; a brother, Raymond; a sister, Mrs. Geneva Jones; 18 grandchildren and 13 great=grandchildren.
Funeral services were held 3 p.m., Sunday, at Kemper & Arnold Funeral home, with Rev. H.L. Green and Rev.John Dutillofficiating. Burial Owenton Cemetery.
