Ashley Nicole Smith, 17, of 1125 Hampden Drive, Strasburg, died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident Wednesday evening in East Lampeter Township.
She would have been a senior at Lampeter-Strasburg High School, where she played on the field hockey team.
Miss Smith worked at Polo Ralph Lauren in Tanger Factory Outlet Center.
Prior to that, she worked at Thomas the Tank Engine Store at Strasburg Rail Road.
A teen volunteer at Hershey Medical Center, she was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir and was active with youth groups and church work camps.
