Alfred Oscar Yeatman was born in Washington, D.C. June the 14th, 1846. He was raised in Virginia, after which he moved to Kansas in the year 1871.

Here he was united in marriage with Miss Mary B. Wood. To this union was born 5 children, 4 boys and 1 girl.

In 1882 he and family moved to Blaine County, Oklahoma, moving to Dewey County in the year of ___ where he and family remained until April 1919, when he then moved to Major where he resided until the time of his death, which occurred December 31st, 1919.

At the time of his death he was 73 years, 6 months, and 17 days old.

Three of the children, Robert, Thomas and Anna, having preceded the father in death.

There remains to mourn his loss, his wife, a grandson, Charley Humberd, besides a host of other relatives and friends.
