Robert H. Ahlers, 90, died in his Minonk home, 320 Walnut street, at 5:30 a. m. Sunday, after having been in ill health for some time.

Funeral services will be held in the Wilcox-Folkers Memorial Home at Minonk, Tuesday at 3:30 p. m., with Rev. Edwin Riske, pastor of St. Paul Evangelical and Reformed church, officiating. Burial will be in the Minonk cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p. m. today.

Mr. Ahlers was born northeast of Minonk, Jan. 20, 1870, son of Henry and Bertha (Frederichs) Ahlers. He exchanged wedding vows with the former Ella Hartman, Feb. 19, 1903, at Greene township, near Secor. She died in 1958. Mr. Ahlers farmed in the Minonk area until 1911, when he retired and moved to town. The deceased was a member of St. Paul Evangelical and Reformed church.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four brothers and four sisters.
