Mrs. Emily Adeline Crampton, a resident of Laporte for more than 60 years, died shortly after 2 p.m. yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Claude Warnock, in Mt. Pleasant.
Last rites held at the Laporte Methodist church, the Rev. Blanche Francis of Saginaw officiated. Interment at the Laporte Cemetery.
Mrs. Crampton was born Emily Adeline Switzer in Barry, Ontario, on February 28, 1857, and came to Midland county more than 60 years ago.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter, Harvey Crampton, Saginaw, Harry Crampton, Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Claude Warnock of Mt.Pleasant, two step-sons, Fred Crampton, of Freeland and Clyde Crampton of Saginaw, 20 grandchildren, and 42 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Harmon Smith of Flint and Cunningham Switzer of San Francisco.
