Earline Cooper, 92, of Double Springs, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Hendrix Healthcare and Rehab.

Ms. Cooper was born on December 8, 1925, in Carbon Hill, Alabama. She was a member of Hickory Grove Church of the Nazarene. Earline loved God. She enjoyed singing, swimming, cooking, walking outdoors, and eating fruit fresh off of the tree. Earline was passionate about sharing or giving what little she had to others.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018, from 10-11am at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where services will be held at 11am. Brother Bill Frank Wilson will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Double Springs.

Earline is survived by her son, Ralph Garcia and his wife Judy; daughters, Sarah Joyce Garrison and her husband Lesslie, Rebecca Wilson and her husband Jimmy. She was known as "Granny" to 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eduardo Garcia; son, Robert Garcia; grandsons, Timothy Kennedy, Zalmon "Peanut" Garrison; parents, Tommy Cooper and Thelma Sides Cooper Benton; brothers, William H. Bill Cooper, Charles T. Benton, John H. Benton; and sister Tommie Mae Cooper Garrison.
