Mrs. Marjorie Mulling Williams, age 92, passed away Friday at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility after an extended illness. The native of Candler County spent her young years there, moving to Savannah during WWII. She and her husband later made their home in Brooklet where she lived for 61 years. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and an employee of the Brooklet Post Office for a number of years. She was a very active member of the Brooklet United Methodist Church for over 60 years where she was a member of the Mollie Lee Sunday School Class, the church choir and taught Sunday School. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles E. "Charlie" Williams and eight brothers and sisters.

Survivors include: her son and daughter-in-law, Charles G. "Gill" and Kay Williams of Lyons; one sister, Laura Cook of Metter; five grandchildren, Greg and Ellie Williams of Bryon, Grant Williams of Statesboro, Jeffrey and Tracy Williams of Waleska, Ga., Carr Newton of Sandy Springs and Christian Newton of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; two great-grandchildren, C. J. and Jake Williams of Waleska, Ga. and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Brooklet United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wes Moye officiating.

Burial will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
