FULTON'S FUNERAL CORTEGE ARRIVES TOMORROW A.M.
Remains Will Come In Private Car of Superintendent Great Northern R.R.

Accompanied by friends and relatives, the funeral cortege of L .Bayne Fulton, senior member of the construction firm of Peppard & Fulton, of Minneapolis, Minn., will arrive in Paducah tomorrow morning, in a private car of P.S. Keating, of St. Paul, Minn., general superintendent of the Great Northern Railroad. Mrs. Nell Grogan Fulton, wife of the deceased, will accompany the body, together with her brother, from Minneapolis. Mr. Pat Grogan, who met the cortege in Chicago, officials of railroads and friends.
Mr. Fulton was fatally injured in an automobile accident which occurred Monday morning in Minneapolis, and died a few minutes later. With his brother, Mr. Edward Fulton, he was en route to the aviation field early Monday morning, to attend an exhibition in aviation, when a heavy truck struck the Fulton car and almost completely demolished it. Mr. Edward Fulton, who was driving, was seriously injured, and Mr. L. Bayne Fulton was thrown out on the pavement, his head striking the concrete.
He did not recover consciousness before his death, which occurred within an hour.
Mr. Fulton was a native of Nova Scotia, but had made his home in Minneapolis for a number of years. He was in charge of construction work on a large part of the Paducah and Illinois railroad contract several years ago, and is well known in this city.
Mr. Fulton was preparing to start on a motor trip to Paducah to supervise construction work on a section of the Edgewood cutoff, for which the Minneapolis firm was recently allotted the contract. The accident occurred only three blocks from the Fulton home.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the First Presbyterian church, with the Rev. J. R. Crawford conducting the service in the absence of the pastor, Rev. Cary Blain. The pallbearers have not yet been chosen.
Mattil, Effinger and Roth will have charge of the funeral arrangements.
Upon arrival, the body will be taken to the Grogan home, 922 Timble r. Accompanying the body are: Mrs. Fulton, Superintendent P. S. Keating, of the Great Northern, Mr. Pat Grogan, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Fulton and son and daughter, and Mr. and Mrs. Pegelow, of Minneapolis.
