She was born February 8, 1940 in Moore, Idaho to Scott and Berneice Palmer Beverland. She was raised in Moore where she attended schools there and in Arco.
In 1958, she married Robert Lee Drussel in Montana. They began their family and traveled the western states following Robert's work. From their marriage they had four children, Billie Roxene, Robyne Lee, Kirk and Jake. They were later divorced. In 1973, Billie met and married Roy H. Williamson in Nevada. They had one daughter, Amy Larene. They enjoyed many good years together before they were divorced. On March 10, 1987 she married Bernard T. Duffy and they later divorced. Throughout her life Billie worked hard to help provide for her family. She worked as a cook at the Golden West Cafe for thirteen plus years. She was a woman of faith and held her beliefs close to her heart.
Billie was quite the social person and loved to spend time with her family and friends. She often volunteered for the children's projects and the Rodeo Association in Mackay and in Arco. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, baking, gardening and doodling. Billie will be remembered by her family as an excellent cook and a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by two sons, Kirk (Sandra) Drussel, Howe, ID and Jake Drussel, Mackay, ID.; three daughters, Billie Roxene Pike, Mackay, ID, Robyn Lee (Mick) Martin, Moreland, ID and Amy Williamson, Moore, ID; her mother, Bea Twitchell, Mackay, ID; two sisters, Amy Lou Krosch, Mackay, ID and Donna Evans, Salmon, ID; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father, Scott Beverland, step-father, Gerald Twitchell and a sister Patsy.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 19, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hawker Lost River Funeral Chapel, 345 Sunset Drive, Arco, ID with Doctor Jeffrey C. Haskell conducting.
