Florence Beatrice Hansen (1895-1988)
Florence Beatrice Hansen, 92, of Lodi, died Saturday at a local convalescent hospital after a long illness.
A native of Chicago, Mrs. Hansen moved to Lodi eight years ago from Long Beach. She worked as a medical missionary nurse in South Africa, Puerto Rico and the United States. She was a registered nurse for 41 years before her retirement.
Mrs. Hansen is survived by one nephew, Dr Colby W Dunscombe of Lodi; three nieces, Dr Dorothy Prince of Long Beach, Mildred Dawson of Santa Ana and Virginia Robbins of Whittier. She was preceded in death by two sisters Hattie Dunscombe and Alice Williams; two brothers Willie Hansen and Bennie Hansen.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 3:30 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale. Committal will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Lodi Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
