On the 1870 census they were living in Collin Co., Texas. In 1880 they were in Hood Co., TX, and by 1892 they have moved to Orange Co., California, possibly following a lot of the Collin County TX families that came out to California in that time frame.
William married Alvina Bertha Gerken on Sep 12, 1909 in Los Angeles Co., CA. They had 3 children; Emily Helena, Franklin and Leslie. Alvina divorced him before 1918 and remarried to Maurice Allen. William doesn't seem to have remarried.
