RUSSELL - Silverene Reissig Parker, 86, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003, at Hays Medical Center. She was born Nov. 16, 1916, in Hays to Frank and Barbara (Weigel) Dreiling. She grew up in Hays.
She married LeRoy Reissig on Aug. 28, 1938. He died March 2, 1974. She married Rudolph Parker on Nov. 25, 1988. He died Jan. 9, 1992.
She lived in Russell for many years. She was a homemaker and cafeteria supervisor at Bickerdyke School for several years.
Survivors include two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Don.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Russell; burial in Russell City Cemetery. Pohlman's Mortuary, Russell in charge. Memorials are suggested to St. John's Nursing Home, Victoria.
