Mrs. Alice L. MONTZ, 51, Kewanna, died unexpectedly at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at her residence. Born Dec. 24, 1919, in Kewanna, she was the daughter of Claude and Caroline BAIR WELLER. Her marriage was in 1937 to Henry J. MONTZ, who survives. A lifetime resident of Kewanna, she was a member of the Kewanna church of Christ. Surviving with her husband are her mother, of Kewanna; one son, Victor [MONTZ], Kewanna; two daughters, Mrs. Vivian PESARESI, R.R. 4, Winamac, and Mrs. William KOLESCAR, Bloomington; one sister, Mrs. Della Mae RATLIFF, Tempe, Ariz.; one brother, Paul WELLER, Kewanna; five grandchildren. Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Church of Christ at Kewanna. The Rev. Ron PRILLIMAN will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Kewanna. Friends may call at the Harrison funeral home in Kewanna and at the church one hour prior to services.
