Mrs. Elizabeth Kramer of Kansas City, formerly of Beaver Creek, Cedar County and mother of Julius and Louis Kramer of this community passed
away at her home on Monday, Feb. 28, 1927 following a short illness.
Julius and Louis Kramer left Sunday morning for Kansas City in response to a telegram telling them of the serious illness of their mother and
arrived in that city shortly before she died. The body of the late Elizabeth Kramer arrived here on Wednesday and was taken to the Julius
Kramer home.
Elizabeth Hous was born 73 years ago in Germany and at the age of 20 immigrated to America and settled on a farm at Beaver Creek. She lived
there except for a short time spent in Wisconsin until her husband died 16 years ago when she moved to Kansas City where she made her home
with her daughter, Mrs. Ida Ritschel.
Funeral services will be held from the Catholic Church in Bow Valley and the late Mrs. Kramer will be laid to rest in the Bow Valley cemetery
beside her husband.
She is survived by her two sons, Julius and Louis Kramer of Bow Valley, and one daughter, Ida Ritschel of Kansas City.
The late Mrs. Kramer was one of the most highly esteemed early residents of Cedar County and the family will have the sympathy of friends
throughout the county in the loss of their devoted mother and companion.
