A native of Asheville, she was a daughter of the late Roy F. and Mattie B. Moore and was also preceded in death by a brother, Eugene S. Fisher. Carolyn was employed for 35 years at Southern Bell and after retirement for 20 years at Jack Young Green Houses.
Survivors include a sister, Betty S. Moore, of the home; a brother, William V. Fisher and his wife, Emma, of Glenville; numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and many friends. The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. David L. Warren officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Groce Funeral Hom on Patton Avenue.
