Patsy Driggers. December 17, 2012. Born in Dubach, Louisiana, the only child to the late Martha Ophelia Williams and James Franklin Driggers, Patsy grew up in Louisiana; graduating from Louisiana Tech and later attending the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. After receiving her Masters of Religious Education, she dedicated her professional career to the field of early childhood education, serving as the Preschool director of Istrouma Baptist Church and Bellevue Baptist Church before joining the staff of the Virginia Baptist General Board. She later moved to Nashville and continued her career as a Preschool consultant at LifeWay until her retirement in 1994.

Patsy is survived by two cousins, Tanya Carney and Delores Ann Lindsey, both of Louisiana. An active member of Brentwood Baptist Church, Patsy served in the Preschool Department for many years.

To honor and celebrate her life, Mrs. Gayle Haywood will conduct a service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19th in Baskin Chapel at the church.
