Mrs. Dorothy Ann Unger, 76, of Thurmont, died Monday, February 13 at the St. Catherine's Nursing Center, Emmitsburg. She was the wife of Charles F. "Mike" Unger, whom she married on Jan. 30, 1953.
Born July 29, 1935 in Thurmont, she was a daughter of the late Floyd Elmer and Margaret Kathleen Weddle Elower.
Mrs. Unger was employed at Moore Business Forms for 15 years and Claire Frock for 5 years. She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Thurmont, AARP, and she enjoyed playing golf.
Surviving besides her husband at home are children: Patricia Ann Unger Phillips and Michael Charles Unger, grandchildren: Samantha Phillips, Brittany Unger, Paige Phillips, Victoria Unger and Michael Unger, Jr, a brother: Donald Lee Elower. She was preceded in death by a sister: Doris Jean Elower Miller.
Mrs. Unger is at the Robert E. Dailey & Son Funeral Homes, P.A., 615 East Main Street, Thurmont, where the
family will receive friends from 7-9 P.M., Thursday, February 16.
Private graveside services and Interment in Blue Ridge Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
