Mrs. Martha Jane Hager Hamilton, age 81, beloved wife of Robert F. Hamilton, Jr., of Hidden Spring Farm, Flaherty, Kentucky, died, Thursday, February 16, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph A. and Lillian Clara Medley Hager, infant daughter, Nancy Ann, daughter-in-law, Wanda Simcoe Hamilton, sister, Dorothea Ann (Mooky) Cormack and brothers, Michael and Kenneth Hager. She was a retired Registered Nurse from Ireland Army Community hospital, Fort Knox, Kentucky. She previously served on the church council at St. Martin of Tours, Flaherty and on the Meade County Health Department Board and the Meade County Library Board.

Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her husband of sixty years, Robert F. Hamilton, Jr., her children, Mary June Hamilton (Charles) Wright, Frankfort, KY, Patricia Gail (Harold) Miller, Boone, NC, Steven Louis Hamilton, Indianapolis, IN, Alan Francis (Nancy) Hamilton, Frankfort, KY, David Anthony (Jackie) Hamilton, Sr., Elizabethtown, KY, Jeffrey Martin (Sherriann) Hamilton, Pewee Valley, KY, her grandchildren, Jennifer Miller Weronski, Alexandria, VA, Angela Miller Veler, Raleigh, NC, Christopher Hamilton, Denver, CO, Elizabeth Hamilton Curtis, Noblesville, IN, David Hamilton, Jr., Laura Hamilton Reynolds and Cameron Hamilton, all of Lexington, KY, Olivia Jane Hamilton, Elizabethtown, KY, Kate Hamilton, Alison Hamilton and Garrett Hamilton, all of Frankfort, KY, Isabel Hamilton, Peewee Valley, KY, her great grandson, Preston Weronski, Alexandria, VA, her brothers, Lee Hager, Vine Grove, KY, Frank Hager, Louisville, KY and her sister, Joan Hager Adams, Brandenburg, KY.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, from St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Flaherty, KY, with Rev. Kevin Bryan, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg, KY, from 4-8 PM on Friday, and from 11:00 AM -12:00 Noon on Saturday.
