Mary was the daughter of David and Rebecca Hager Wallace from Ireland. She married Alvin Jay Conklin on 25 January 1871 in Wood County. They had one son Fred. Mary fractured her hip and later died from myocarditis at the age of 82 years 9 months and 9 days.
